Attention bodyshell manufacturers around the World! Former Team Durango designer Michael Vollmer got in touch with a crazy idea and area52 is happy to support him. Michael is running a design company called Revolution Design and he is working as a freelancer for several RC Car companies to feed them with new ideas and designs. Now he came up with the idea of auctioning his latest creation: A totally new 1/10 scale Short Course Truck body shell. You, the companies, have the chance to buy the CAD construction files and all rights on the design.

The body features a totally new "Evil Eye" front grille section that differs the body shell from everything you have seen before, sports a massively ripped "Aero-Flo" hood with optional cut-outs to conquer that nasty parachute effect often associated with Short Course Truck bodies and exhibits protruding "Phat Phenders" to make way even for the new "wide" SCT tyres. The body is designed to fit all 2WD and 4WD 1/10 scale SC Trucks on the market.

We will run a special "auction" for Michael giving you the chance to get hold of the files by placing as many bids as you want but keep in mind that the reserve price is set to 1500 Euro excluding 19% VAT. The auction starts Friday 10th of June @ 12 p.m. GMT and ends Monday 20th of June @ 12 p.m. GMT. To place a bit please send an email to

. We collect all bids and the highest one above the reserve price of 1500 Euro will get all needed files to immediately produce Michael's latest output (the body you can see here and in the gallery below). The deal includes minor design changes in case you would like to adapt the body to a specific chassis, the addition of a part number and your company logo. There are also no additonal or hidden costs for you.
Michael also offers custom design for bodies, parts, tools and even cars, buggies and trucks in case you are interested to not "only" have one of the coolest new SC Truck design but also a whole range of products. If you want to get in touch with Michael please do not hesitate to contact him at

(that's only for his custom design, not to place a bit for the SCT bodyshell auction!).
