Edam introduce the solid axle adapter for the Spirit and Esprit 1/10 on-road cars. The insert CNC-machined from aluminium is used instead of the differential's internal gears and locks the outdrives making a solid axle construction for those who prefer a locked rear axle over a gear diff. Using a solid axle over a diff in the rear of the car makes for more acceleration, stability and also less rotating mass for a quicker spool-up.
