Yes, you read that right, it is not a typo, Team Durango currently work on a 2WD Short Course truck. Being known for their excellent DESC410R and their recently released DEX210 buggy the UK-based company now puts everything together and will soon release the DESC210R. Our friends of Red RC snapped a couple of sneak pics at this weekend's Euro Offroad Series in Hrotovice/Czech Republic showing what looks like a pretty much production ready 2WD Team Durango SC truck. Based on the design ideas of the DEX210 but sporting a longer all-plastic rather than an aluminium/plastic composite chassis the DESC210R has the characteristic "angled" front wishbones, big-bore shock absorbers, and – by the looks of things – the same 3-or-4-gear-mid-or-rear-motor gear box assembly that makes the DEX210 stand out from the current breed of 2WD off-road vehicles. The rims are taken over from the 4WD truck and we look forward to get more information on spec and of course a release date. In the meantime you can check out our review of the 4WD truck or head over to Team Durango for more information on their line of nitro and electric off-road cars.
