We started to research, what option parts we need to get a full-blown Mini-Z racer. There are tons of Internet forums in the WWW with tons of informations. It was clear to buy the latest Version MR03. But what exactly do we need to win races? Which bodies work best? What wheelbase, rims, off-set and tyres? MM, LM, or RM-version? What tyre additives are allowed and what H-bar s to use best? Which option part makes sense and which one“s senseless? What motors do we need and do we need a TURBO-FET?
It took us one week of research to get an idea of what parts we needed to burn our money! It took us long nights to search in the web, many bottles of beer, many cigarettes and discussing on what we really needed. A German forum was a big help. The next step was to order all of the parts. We found an excellent web shop here in Germany, that stocked nearly all our desired parts. Giving us very important information the shop owner could help a lot. PN-racing, Reflex Racing, Mini-Z Norway and many more ... Flo prepared a list of parts before will filled up our Basket. It was a DIN A-4 sheet with nearly 40 positions for each car! He also added the prices for each position. At the end, we made a humongus order with the feeling, the guys over at Atomic and PN racing can continue a live luxury life on the Caribbean islands. I heard them laughing about us stupid dumb asses in my mind to spend so much money for driving 175 grams of plastic, rubber and aluminium around a circle ...
So long, Michael
